Great Success for 2nd Forest Gap Night!

Last Friday 22nd January was the second Forest Gap Music Night. It was a huge success. Headliners Sneezy T's put in a storming performance, with their final number 'The River' bringing the house down. Support was from Irish solo performer CiarĂ¡n who brillaintly stepped in at the last minute, and the acoustic covers band The Scumbags. Angus compered the night and began procedings by doing a couple of numbers including his now almost legendary 'Mind the Gap' opener! The night was topped off by a wonderful retro disco from Tim and Boris. Thanks to all the musicians and DJ's who performed. A very special thanks goes out to rock veteran Ed Furst for loan of his PA and for being the sound man.

The next Forest Gap should be Friday March 19th, but watch this space for confirmation of date and line-up. Speaking of which - we've had lots of people coming forward and asking about playing at future 'Gaps' which is brilliant as the whole point of the Forest Gap is to showcase local indie/rock/alternative music. If you are in a band that wants to play or interested in doing a solo act and you think you're pretty good then send us an email at forestgap.music@gmail.com
If you or your band have songs on a myspace page or videos of performances on YouTube, then please include a link in your email.

Thanks - Look forward to hearing from you and seeing you, whether you play or not, at future Forest Gap nights.
